Hear ye, hear ye! Let it be known that, on the Third Sunday after the Epiphany, January 23rd, 2022, the people of God at House for All Sinners and Saints have called Wylie Cook (they/them), our sibling in Christ, to serve as pastor to our congregation of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
Wylie will serve HFASS, their first call in the ELCA, as Associate Pastor, co-pastoring our House beside and together with the concurrent leadership of Pastor Reagan Humber (he/him).Soon-to-be-Pastor Wylie was raised up by All Saints Lutheran in Wales, WI (Greater Milwaukee Synod), candidated in the Northeastern Iowa Synod, graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and was vicar to First Lutheran in Waltham, Mass. HFASS is delighted to already be preparing to celebrate Wylie’s arrival in mid-February.
Bishop Jim Gonia of the Rocky Mountain Synod will ordain Wylie to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament at All Saints Lutheran in Wales, WI on Saturday, March 26th, with an Installation as Associate Pastor to HFASS on Palm Sunday, April 10th. All are welcome to attend, to join us in giving thanks to God for her Holy Spirit’s guidance in bringing us together and to pray for us as we begin this new ministry together. + In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen +
